We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge Kingston Borough Council to actively pursue all possible ways to ensure that the private landlords take the responsibility to clean up and maintain the road, prevent further fly-tipping and make the area safe for all users.

Background information

The hazardous state of Broadoaks, a private access road in Tolworth is a serious concern for the residents of the area. The road is mainly used by businesses, shoppers, residents and also by the public. The issues are mainly fly-tipping, abandoned cars, litter, anti-social behaviour and the absence of maintenance or cleaning up of the area. It has long been neglected by the land owners that the area has deteriorated to a level which may lead to serious health and safety implication for the local residents, passers-by and especially children
